Good evening Bacon Band Alumni!
This email is partially repetitive but also includes some updates! Here is what we need from all of you!  

1) Please spread the word.  The website content, as it relates to most of the events, is coming directly from TK (Sean & I are just the messengers). Details may change so it's important to check the site.  We will also send updates via email when they become available. 

2) Social media posts.  Some of the yuks this year will be a surprise for TK, some will be a surprise for the current band kids. Even though TK is not on most social media, his students are, and word will get back to him.  So, we are begging everyone to make this year special for everyone involved by doing your best not to post any “secrets” on social media.  You can share anything else, just not the “secrets.” (If you are Band Alumni AND a Current Band Member Parent, we know this will be extra hard for you, but we thank you in advance for not telling your kids).

Question: “How will I know what I can and cannot post?” 
Answer: We will alert you in the email, and that email will not be accessible on the homepage like all the others.

3) The Kessler-archy. #1 Current students. #2 Alumni. #3 Everyone else. If you fall into category #2 or #3, and there are not enough seats to accommodate you at a performance, the Kessler-archy kicks in.  There will (potentially) be a space issue depending on the number of responses, so he has requested we notify all of you because he wants to see you, he wants you to play, but there may be limitations out of his control, and his priority is the kids on stage. 
   
Now the fun stuff:
• Access code to download your music:  This code will be emailed out again to those that have recently signed up.
• The Halloween Concert:  If you are interested in playing please RSVP through this poll. Click Me! I'm not spam! He needs a headcount by 10/24. There is a secret component to this event so you will not see that email on the homepage. This event includes one tune and is open to Alumni & Non-Alumni.  The secret will be resent later this month.    
• The Parade in May:  Also a plan that is partially top secret.  That information will be released after the Halloween concert.  Alumni Only.
• Jazz Night:  No secrets.  Details to come later this year.  We expect this to be a sight-reading with solos for jazzers deal (no concert band).  This means, if you were a jazzer and currently perform, and if you can sight-read at the concert including improvised solos, this is your gig. 
• The Irish/March Concert: No secrets (that we are aware of).  There are two tunes for alumni to play. Open to Alumni & Non-Alumni
• Alumni only performance.  This has not been scheduled yet.  It is loosely expected to be in April but we are waiting on some other details before it gets confirmed. Open to Alumni & Non-Alumni
• December and June Concerts. Current Students only.  Alumni & Non-Alumni are welcome to cheer everyone on from the audience.
• Other stuff . . . in the works.
